The departure of the iPhone 13 mini indicates that mainstream consumers do not prefer small screens. However, this does not mean that small-screen smartphones are not in demand. Several engineers who previously developed the Pebble smartwatch have recently formed a new company that will release a small-screen phone with a screen size of less than 6.1 inches.
The team has launched a project called Small Android Phone, and team leader Ben Bryant recently revealed some specifications in an interview with the foreign technology media, The Verge.
Bryant stated that the phone will focus on camera functions and the back of the phone should be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, although detailed camera specifications have not been released.
According to Tech Universus, the Small Android Phone project is still in the early development stage, and the team has not yet named it. However, it has been confirmed that the phone will be smaller than 6.1 inches. The processor may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
